Minerva FC won by 3-0 in an inaugural match of Hero Junior League 2018-19 (Punjab zone) against United Punjab FC at its home ground in Chandigarh. Both teams played with competitive spirit & sportsmanship.
Minerva fc took lead in last minute of the first half. In the 2nd minute of the 2nd half UPFC defenders made a mistake (appealing for offside) and minerva took advantage of that by scoring another goal. After that UPFC tried to come back and played really good game but that was not went in favor of UPFC as his one forward got a red card. It was really tough to play with 10 players and win against them, In the last of minute of the extra time UPFC defenders made the same mistake again (appealing for offside) and minerva took advantage of that by scoring 3rd goal.
